Our Purpose
Empower Pathways Adult Day Program is a vendor of the San Diego Regional Center, dedicated to creating a nurturing and inclusive space for adults aged 18 and older with developmental disabilities. Our primary objective is to foster empowerment among participants through a comprehensive array of educational, social, and recreational activities. By providing a supportive environment, we aim to facilitate personal growth, enhance independence, encourage social integration, and promote community involvement. Through the power of empowerment, we aspire to equip young adults with the skills, resources, and confidence necessary to navigate their journey towards a fulfilling and meaningful future.
"How to Become a Client"
Prospective candidates should currently be recipients of services or funding through the San Diego Regional Center (SDRC). If a potential candidate is not yet receiving services but intends to initiate the intake process with SDRC, they can refer to https://www.sdrc.org/apply to access more information. After obtaining approval from the San Diego Regional Center for services and/or participating in a planning team meeting with their designated San Diego Regional Center Service Coordinator, or the Program Manager of their designated unit in cases of temporary unassignment, the Service Coordinator/Program Manager may directly contact Empower Pathways to initiate a referral for the client. Those considering participation are encouraged to explore additional avenues for support in obtaining authorization for this particular service.
